I am a self-described “Hopeless Romantic”. My favorite movie is: “An Affair to Remember” [Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr - 1957]. Yes, that's a recommendation. I believe that Love finds a way. It is this passion that I bring to the Engagement and Wedding sessions. THE VISUAL ARTIST STUDIOS primary purpose is to: create timeless images – capture unforgettable memories.
When we meet, it's a sharing moment. I want to learn about you: as people and as a couple. What's your Love Story? How did you meet? Who pursued who? Who is the funny one? I absolutely want to hear about “THE DRESS” and “THE SUIT”. I'd like to spend a little time going over your date(s), venue and expectations. This is also an opportunity to discuss what the end piece would look like: prints, legacy albums and photographic/artistic concepts (specialty prints: metal or canvas), is it a themed or traditional wedding and/or engagement? We can cover a great deal in a short time. Consultations are always free: we want to make sure, at the very least, that we are a resource for you as you plan your life-event.
Once you choose THE VISUAL ARTIST STUDIOS to capture your life-moments and memories, then we will dive a little deeper into the details. This is a light planning session (if you're inclined, we may need wine or coffee). We want to finalize expectations and plan our strategy (venues, time lines, shot list, etc). I will guide you on the best time of day and the technical aspects of achieving the highest quality photographs that we can produce within the scope of the Vision.
On “THE DAY”, the objective of THE VISUAL ARTIST STUDIOS is to capture the day; to document the moments and to create visual art that will be the Hallmark of your new lives together. By this time we hope we have more than an agreement: we strive to build relationships. We want to be on your list. Most families have a “Doctor”. And some have a “Lawyer”. We want to be Your “Photographer”.
Contact THE VISUAL ARTIST STUDIOS, we look forward to serving you on your day and in your lives.
